  • Regional supply side incentives in stimulating innovation
  • Knowledge linkages: Fact or fantasy?
  • Incubation: Driving innovation from infancy to maturity
  • Science parks as a stimulus for regional development in Africa

THE CONFERENCE AIMS

The conference specifically aims to:

  • Define the role of Science and Technology parks in Africa.
  • Investigate supply side incentives to stimulate innovation on the African continent.
  • Foster linkages between local and international Science Parks, public- and private economic development practitioners and knowledge institutions.
  • Showcase key development initiatives in Africa.
  • Establish a platform for sustained development founded on cutting edge innovation.
